Our Story
Gospel Church of Jesus began in 1994 as a handful of families praying in a living room. Today we’re a multi-generational church family in the heart of Mount Druitt — still convinced that the gospel of Jesus is the best news in the world.
Our mission is simple: to love God, love one another, and make disciples who serve our city. We gather each week to worship, to be shaped by the Scriptures, and to be sent out as people of grace into our homes, workplaces and neighborhoods.
What We Believe
The heart of our faith
- God — There is one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
- Scripture — The Bible is the inspired, trustworthy Word of God and our final authority for faith and life.
- Jesus — Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man. He lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, and rose bodily from the grave.
- Salvation — We are saved by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone — not by our own works.
- The Holy Spirit — The Spirit lives in every believer, empowering us to follow Jesus and serve others.
- The Church — The church is the family of God, called to worship, fellowship, and to carry the gospel to the world.
- Hope — Jesus will return to make all things new, and we look forward to eternal life with Him.
